I do believe there's a 10 day free trial available, so you can always give it a try.

MMORPGs do tend to get boring, however, so I stick to free ones, if anything.

Well, I played this game for two years. And it last. So, to me, the monthly fee is worth it. Just remember that when you arrive at the level ceiling, your activities will change completely. You'll either go PvE, which means being with 9/24 other people to raid a dungeon (this happens most of the time in a guild, between 20h30 and 0h-1h), or PvP, an underestimated aspect of the game by the newbies (done in either small determined group, in arena, the 2v2 and 3v3 brackets being prefered, or in large pick-up groups, for battleground). The practicants of one are often enemies of those of the other one, since patches affect both aspects of the game.

To conclude, WoW is probably one the longest game available right now, along with the best MMORPG on the market. Still, it gets boring. After a few years =p

Yeah my friend has WOW and want me to get it. It does look interesting but the thing is I'm not paying a month just to see if I like it. I'll stick with normal games thanks.

Wow thats bad having your friend go insane with it. As fun as it is you should never forget your place in life. Thats what I say :P

WoW, like most MMORPG, comes with a free month when you buy the game and has a ten-day free trial. If you don't play a priest, you should be able to reach the level ceiling within that time.

12$ a month at the least and if you like MMORPG's then go for it. I recommend doing the 10 day free trial or 14 day one if you have WC3.Personally I did not like it.
